HVAC Service in Milton, Washington
Milton has a mix of established hillside homes and newer builds near Surprise Lake, and each has its own comfort needs. Our trained technicians come from our Auburn location to service and install heat pumps, gas fireplace inserts, and high-efficiency furnaces throughout town. Whether you’re tucked off Milton Way or close to Pacific Highway East, you’ll get clear answers, careful workmanship, and a price you know before we begin.
Air Conditioning Services
Fewer Milton homes have central air than you’d expect, but those July and August heat spells make a strong case for it. We install new central air conditioning systems and repair the ones you already have. Our Auburn technicians test airflow, refrigerant, and electrical parts so your system runs strong all summer.
Ductless Mini-Split installation
Older Milton homes often have baseboard heaters or wall units that cost a lot to run. A ductless heat pump system is an efficient upgrade that adds air conditioning too. Each indoor unit has its own controls, so every family member stays comfortable. Our installers come out from Auburn to handle the whole job.
Furnace Installation Services
If your furnace is pushing 15 or 20 years old, a new one can lower your gas bill and quiet the house. We size every new furnace installation correctly for Milton homes, so you aren’t paying for more system than you need. Our Auburn crew handles permits, hauls away the old unit, and walks you through your new equipment.
Furnace Repair
When your heat stops working, you want a technician who shows up on time and knows what they’re doing. We provide furnace troubleshooting and repair for Milton families, covering igniters, blower motors, and flame sensors. We drive in from Auburn, show you what we find, and quote the fix up front.
Gas Fireplaces
Damp, breezy winter nights rolling in off the Fife tideflats are perfect for a fire. We help Milton homeowners upgrade to efficient gas fireplace inserts and keep existing units in top shape with a thorough safety inspection. Most repairs are done in one visit from our Auburn team.
Heat Pumps
Heat pumps have become a top choice for Milton homeowners who want to cut energy use without giving up comfort. They provide steady warmth through mild Puget Sound winters and cool air on warm summer days. Our Auburn technicians handle heat pump installation, maintenance, and repair for homes around Milton.
HVAC Controls & Accessories
Small upgrades can make a big difference in how your home feels. We install Honeywell touchscreen thermostats, zone dampers, and Honeywell F300 electronic air cleaners that capture dust, pollen, and smoke from summer wildfires and Port of Tacoma traffic. Browse our HVAC accessories and smart controls, all installed by our Auburn team.
Meet Jay Poole, Founder of Absolute Heating & Cooling
Absolute Heating and Cooling exists because Jay Poole wanted to do HVAC the right way. After years in the industry, he opened the company in 2009, and today he brings 25 years of experience to every job. His mission is simple: deliver comfort families can rely on while supporting the communities around him, including Milton.
Jay’s story started small. He ran the first version of Absolute out of his home and handled much of the work himself. Each satisfied customer led to the next, and that steady growth built the trusted Auburn company Milton homeowners call when their heat or air needs attention.
Even now, Jay leads from the field as much as the office. He pushes his team to keep learning, sweat the details, and treat every house like their own. That people-first culture comes along on every trip from Auburn to Milton, whether you live near Surprise Lake or just off Porter Way.
